The covergirl is weaver Janelle Pietrzak who takes you on a hike near her house and studio as well as seeing how her surroundings influence her work.

Also visited is Karen Templer of Fringe Association who explains her perspective on slow fashion and how we all can incorporate this in our own lives.

Ace & Jig hosted a party for women in textiles in Los Angeles. Also visited is the studio of children’s knitwear designer Misha and Puff in Boston, dye-master Audrey Louise Reynolds in Redhook, rug-maker and video artist Alise Anderson in Oakland.

Finally Meghan Shimek whose weavings of raw roving seem to be so popular right now. There are also inspiring knitted editorials and the usual assortment of product and trend pieces.
